Dr. Perrone grew up in Switzerland and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri after moving to the United States.

She is multilingual and licensed to practice in multiple states. Dr. Perrone is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York Veterinary Medical Association, and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. With a background in the horse racing industry, she joined the Emergency & Critical Care team at a multi-specialty hospital on Long Island in 2018. It was there that she discovered her passion for emergency medicine, and she has been working as an emergency veterinarian ever since.

Dr. Perrone is deeply committed to helping animals in need. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her daughter and volunteering with international wildlife rescue organizations and the Suffolk County SPCA.
