Dr. Katelynn Kindred grew up in central Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and then attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine to earn her veterinary degree. Dr. Kindred completed an emergency mentorship program at VRC in Malvern, Pennsylvania before coming to work at Animal Specialty Center. 

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and her two cats, Cole and Pippen.
