Kari Rosen

Dr. Kari Rosen is the staff radiation oncologist at the Animal Specialty Center as well as the Medical Director of Specialty Services. She studied pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Delaware and, in 2005, went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in NJ, followed by her residency in Radiation Oncology from the New England Veterinary Oncology Group in MA. Dr. Rosen attained Diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Radiology, subspecialty Radiation Oncology, in 2010. She has co-authored scientific journals, provided local lectures for continuing education, has served on the Veterinary Radiation Oncology Examination Committee, and is a member of several state and national veterinary organizations. She specialized in stereotactic radiation for brain, nasal, and bone tumors; as well as offering IMRT, VMAT, 3DCRT, and palliative care. Her passion for oncology stems from her innate love of animals and desire to inspire hope to the families of her patients. Outside of work she enjoys music, reading, yoga, hiking, camping, traveling with her husband and her two adorable kiddos.
