Dr. McCue began his post-graduate professional career pursuing a small animal internal medicine specialization. Following veterinary school at Cornell University, he completed a rotating internship and subsequent residency for internal medicine in New York City. While in veterinary school, Dr. McCue developed an interest in veterinary neurology. Concurrent with obtaining board certification for internal medicine, he became the first graduate of the current neurology residency program at the Animal Medical Center in 2010 and remained a staff neurologist until 2022. His professional interests have continued within the intersection of internal medicine and neurology, utilizing minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques to address complex endocrine disorders related to the pituitary gland.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, cycling throughout NYC, stand-up paddleboarding, and spending time with his pets, friends, and family.
