Dr. Giovanni Diaz grew up in the Bronx, NY, and from an early age has been driven by a passion for helping animals feel better and supporting the families who love them. That dedication has guided his entire journey into veterinary medicine.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Manhattan College before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Long Island University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, he pursued a small-animal rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in internal medicine, surgery, emergency care, and overall patient wellness.

When he’s not caring for animals, Dr. Diaz can usually be found behind a camera, traveling, collecting minerals, watching horror films, gaming, or spending time with family and friends.

For Dr. Diaz, being a veterinarian isn’t just a job—it’s truly what he loves to do. As he often says, “It’s never work when you love what you do!”
