Dr. Giavanna Gaymon grew up in Queens, New York, and completed her Bachelor and Veterinary Degree at Tuskegee University in 2014. She then completed a one-year small animal rotating internship in Chicago, IL, before returning to New York. With additional experience, she practiced general small-animal medicine in the New York City area for five years, learning preventive care and various approaches to clinical illnesses. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, wound care, emergency medicine, and nutritional management for optimal health. 

In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, volunteering for NYC food pantries, reading, and spending time with her family and two cats, Prince and Chubbz.
