Dani Hall
Since a very young age, Dani has expressed interest in caring for animals in need. Her very first family pet was a Bichon Frise named Holly, who taught her what love for a pet truly was. After caring for Holly, one Bichon Frise became two, two became three, three became four, and so on!
Dani attended SUNY Westchester Community College with an initial interest in performing arts, but soon realized this was not her calling. She discovered a new path at school and went on to achieve her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science through the Veterinary Technology program. She started working at the Animal Specialty Center in 2015 and went on to achieve her license as a Veterinary Technician in the state of New York. She has since developed a love for emergency and critical care. Dani also gained experience in research medicine as an LVT at Rockefeller University to expand her knowledge in the field but returned to ASC, as her heart will always be in emergency medicine.
She has taken on a Lead Technician role in the emergency department and has grown to become the Education Manager here at ASC. She has a compassionate interest in assisting current students enrolled in Veterinary Technology programs to excel in their courses and strive to sit for their boards to become licensed. Dani enjoys teaching hands-on skills and always encourages students to get out of their comfort zone and try new skills with the guidance and oversight of a Licensed Veterinary Technician or DVM. She believes it is important to support the future of Veterinary Technicians/Technologists, understanding the demands and rigorous curriculum required to graduate from such programs.
Unique Facts: She has a pack of Bichon Frise dogs and a three-legged cat whom she rescued from ASC. Although performing arts was not her calling, she loves Broadway and has seen over 70 shows, with The Phantom of the Opera being her absolute favorite!
