Carly Sullivan
Carly Sullivan was born and raised in Connecticut, where she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended Virginia Tech (Let’s Go Hokies!) for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Public Health degrees. She then attended veterinary school at Iowa State University (Go State!), where she developed her love for surgery.
After veterinary school, Carly moved back to the east coast where she completed a rotating internship at BluePearl in New York City. She then completed two surgical internships; one in Austin, TX and one in Philadelphia, PA. After completing her internship in Philadelphia, Carly stayed onboard for her three-year surgical residency. After residency, Carly and her husband moved back to New York City was she practiced at a busy referral practice in New York City. Her and her husband recently moved back to Connecticut once they had their son, Kieran.
Carly is interested in all parts of veterinary surgery, including both orthopedic and soft tissue cases. Her favorite cases include emergent gastrointestinal procedures, reconstructive surgery, fracture management and TPLOs on any size dog.
Outside of work, Carly enjoys going to any barre class she can, watching college football and basketball, dining at local restaurants, spending time at the beach with her husband, son and their Rhodesian Ridgeback named Ryder.
