Alexis Cistola
Dr. Alexis Cistola obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2004, and then completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City. Her internship was followed by a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia which she completed in 2008. Dr. Cistola then returned to New York where she practiced in Westchester County, and has previously been voted one of “Westchester’s Top Vets,” according to Westchester Magazine. Dr. Cistola continued her Internal Medicine career in New York City before happily joining Animal Specialty Center. She is particularly interested in endocrine and gastrointestinal diseases, and enjoys non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, ultrasound guided aspiration and endoscopy. Outside of work she enjoys NYC life, traveling with her husband, chasing after her adorable kids, running, and snuggling with her dogs.
