Our in-patient wing of our hospital is designed to help your pet rest comfortably as they recover or wait their turn to be seen by our other specialty departments. Our Veterinarians, Veterinary Nurses, and Veterinary Assistants are scheduled around the clock 365 days to be sure that all patients are recovering in a safe and stress-free environment. Our dedicated team provides care that uniquely meets your pet’s independent needs. Patients each have their individual suites that are surrounded by muted colors, soft lighting, relaxing music, and calming pheromones (Feliway and Adaptil). We have a variety of comfortable-sized suites and amenities like mattresses, blankets, pillows, and donut beds to accommodate pets of all shapes and sizes.
Your pet’s veterinarian contacts you at least twice a day with a medical update. The updates generally occur between 9 and 11 a.m. after medical rounds, when our veterinarians review each patient’s progress. If a significant change occurs in your pet’s condition, you are contacted by a veterinarian, regardless of the time, unless you indicate otherwise. Call our hospital to request a Comfort Check status update from one of our technicians.
