Emergency Care

Animal Specialty Center is fully staffed by veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, and client care specialists 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for all types of emergencies. You do not need a referral or an appointment to be seen for an emergency, however we do recommend that you call ahead. We may suggest first aid measures you can take immediately and we will be best prepared for your arrival.

Specialty Care

Patients are typically referred to Animal Specialty Center by their regular, primary care veterinarian for specialty care. Your regular veterinarian will send Animal Specialty Center a referral form that will describe your pet’s problem and identify the appropriate specialty department to see your pet.

Specialist Consultations, Procedures and Surgery are by appointment Monday through Friday,

8:00am-7:00pm* (Departments hours may vary)

Cost Estimates

When you schedule your appointment, you will receive an explanation of initial exam and consultation fees, and will be given any special instructions to prepare your pet for its visit.

The need for additional testing and treatments may not be known prior to examination. So it may not be possible to estimate all of the costs in advance. Once the doctor examines your pet, you will receive an assessment of your pet's treatment options, plans, and estimated costs.

Animal Specialty Center accepts cash, local personal checks, ATM, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and CareCredit, a low or no cost financing option for qualified applicants.

Payment is due at the time of service. For patients who are admitted to the hospital, a deposit will be required, with the balance due at time of discharge.
