Preparing for your Visit

On the day of your Initial Visit

If your pet is scheduled for surgery or a procedure requiring anesthesia, please do not feed your pet for 12 hours prior to your appointment unless directed otherwise. However, you may provide water. Continue your pet’s normal medication schedule and bring all medications with you.
Be sure to bring all relevant information including the Referral Form filled out by your veterinarian, x-rays, blood test results, diet or medicines your pet is taking.

  1. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete information for your pet’s medical record.

  2. For you and your pet’s safety, please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier.

  3. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us a 24-hour notice. We'll be happy to reschedule.

Upon Arrival

After you and your pet check in with a client care specialist in the receiving area, and complete any remaining paperwork, the doctor and veterinary technician will meet with you and your pet to perform a physical examination, review their medical history, and evaluate your pet's condition. The doctor may also perform or recommend additional diagnostic tests.

Our team will then put together an assessment of your pet's treatment options, plans and related costs. The doctor and technicians will discuss this assessment with you, and together you’ll agree to a treatment plan that’s right for you and your pet.
